Turtles

This piece incorporates many details and references throughout the different iterations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I wanted to pay homage to the live action movies I grew up with in the 90’s, but also throw in some design philosophy from the other films, cartoons, and related characters. I also incorporated references to other characters not shown, and designed a Pizza Company’s logo that is run by Bebop and Rocksteady!

Recently, I have been obsessed with the Zelda games on Nintendo Switch, and imagined that these teenagers would probably be fans as well. I wanted them all in a relaxed state, between battles where they are relaxed in the safety of their sewer apartment.
